Mary Frances Trust

IT Tutor based at Leatherhead Clubhouse - KT22 8DY

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Hours: 9hrs per week with the possibility of extending
this by an additional 3hrs to run a small cooking group

Position: Permanent

Description
We are a small local charity providing a variety of services for our members, who have mental health needs, to promote their recovery and wellbeing. We are based in a homely house in Leatherhead town centre and work hard to offer a welcoming, stimulating and supportive environment for staff and members alike (for more details consult our web-site www.maryfrancestrust.org.uk).

We wish to employ a part-time IT tutor to offer tutorials in
computer skills to individual members. There is very limited
flexibility about hours because of our tight timetable. There may be a possibility of extending the hours by also running a small cookery group.

We are looking for a flexible and energetic person with excellent inter-personal skills and experience of working with vulnerable adults. Although we will offer some training, s/he will need to have good computer skills (and possibly cooking skills).

Applicants will need to have 2 references and undergo Enhanced CRB Clearance. This would be a very good opportunity for someone seeking experience of working in a mental health or charity setting.
